Selection Criteria

Tri-Force Security Services employs an aggressive recruitment program aimed at attracting the highest quality staff. Of the large number of candidates who apply, only a small percentage are ultimately selected to join the Tri-Force team.

The Process

All applications are reviewed to determine if the candidate has the minimum skills, education and experience for the position. Candidates meeting those requirements will then undergo at least one telephone and one personal interview.

The following areas will be considered:
  • related experience (security, police, military, retail etc.)
  • education and training
  • verbal and written communication skills
  • professional image
  • interpersonal skills
  • maturity, responsibility and common sense
  • completion of BST 1 and 2
  • physical ability to do the job
  • a minimum of three (3) satisfactory references

Tri-Force also requires that all employees be bondable.

Applicants who meet the required screening and selection criteria will be offered employment upon passing the final approval processes of the Ministry of Attorney General Security Programs Division. This final approval process involves a written application, as well as fingerprinting and a background check at the local police station.

If the Security Programs Division approves the application, the employee will receive their security photo license. Upon receiving the security license, the employee becomes eligible to commence work for Tri-Force Security Services.
